Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980, in Australia, is a model as well as an actress. In Australia her name was made famous because of the character Pepper Steiger that she played on the soap opera Neighbors with a total of 100 episodes that ran from 2006 until 2007. The first show she appeared with Hollywood was the choral-comedy Hollywood & Wine that she appeared in, in which she played a young actress that is brand new to Hollywood. After that, she landed a job in the role of Maya the sexy and gorgeous medical student, in Scrubs in the 9th season. But the show abruptly ended. She then continued filming a Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot that starred Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Then she played in B-series film and series shorts. The year 2013 was when she started to get noticed further. After being featured in six episodes on the detective drama Franklin and Bash and landing her first part on the regular cast of the webseries Chosen with Milo Ventimiglia, the actress landed a series of projects. In the first two series she has also provided an answer for Chad Michael Murray. Later in the year she appeared in the supporting roles for two feature films with aircrafts. She portrays a flight assistant. She shares with Gabriel Luna the poster of a brand new television series named Matador. The first season of this thriller, in which the actors portray CIA agents with Robert Rodriguez's direction comprises only 13 episodes. The pilot for a second show that has not been a success, remains in production. She released the trailer for the romantic comedy series B Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared as Kad Cuoco and Kevin Hart's co-stars for The comedy Witness for Rent. The original Knight of Cups, directed by Terrence malick, also extensively distributed. She is also featured in five episodes of the Satisfaction series.
